The amphibious assault ship USS Essex returns to sea shortly after arriving in Subic Bay, Philippines, Feb. 17, 2006. The Essex and the dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry were ordered back to sea, and are en route to the Philippine Island of Leyte, to provide humanitarian assistance for the victims of a landslide that occurred Feb. 17, 2006.
